One of civilization’s first great advancements in building was the discovery of the arch. Its expression in Portugal is taken to ecstatic and sometimes dizzying extremes. On our recent exploration of Lisbon Arthur and I were joined by daughter Drew and boyfriend Keenan McCardle.

The Renaissance skipped this part of the world and so fantasy abounds!
