The Mirage was one of the first major projects during my time working with the Wynn family, and a game changer for hotels everywhere. With more than 3,000 rooms, we introduced both the destination resort hotel casino, multifaceted entertainment including white tigers and dolphins and the first ever luxury villas, my first entry into the world of Architectural Digest.

I am incredibly proud and grateful to have contributed to this special property, made a success by the brilliant individuals and teams that have worked there throughout its 35 year run.

The visionary woman behind this property and dear friend of mine, Elaine Wynn, offered heartfelt words to commemorate The Mirage. You may watch her full speech using the link in my bio.

The first image features rowers fitted in traditional brightly decorated costumes to welcome guests on the dock of Arsenale Vecchio.⁠

This fantastical ball was the opening of the Venice Art Biennale, the oldest fair in the world, and despite this only being the third year of the event, it sold out within three weeks. The room setting is one that mere mortals never have the opportunity to experience, except in instances such as these. ⁠

Among the many musical performances cherished at @thesmithcenterlv, it’s a lesser-known fact that Reynolds Hall resonates as a musical instrument itself.

The Carillon was proposed by architect David Schwarz (@dmsarchitect) as a means to let The Smith Center stand out in the Symphony Park development. Schwarz is truly a visionary of his craft, evident by this great and distinguished bell tower.

They say that you only have one chance at a first impression - and this great feat of architecture and design blows most others out of the water.⁠

The Ambassador’s Staircase, Scala dei Censori, of Doge’s Palace has historically welcomed distinguished visitors with intricate details that only could have been accomplished by the naval craftsman of its time. This entry point is merely the beginning of a crescendo of visual splendor.⁠

Even after multiple viewings, the exquisite design of this stairwell never fails at leaving the viewer breathless. I can only imagine it was even more magical when illuminated by candlelight.⁠
