Paris is about meeting the friends and colleagues who make our fascinating profession so remarkable. I always visit Hervé Van der Straaten, stop by Rubelli to see Nicoló and Andrea Rubelli, and go to my favorite frame dealer in the 7th, Alexandre Piatti. I always meet someone unexpected. This trip, I finally got a face to face with Brooks Morrison, with whom I have been developing my new collection for Moore and Giles. Not pictured here: Jodi Finer, with whom I am developing my second beautiful collection for S. Harris.

Later I ran into Steve Mittman while exploring new accessory finds to go on my Salon Collection cabinets and tables in his New York, Washington and Chicago showrooms, then visited Crans Baldwin in his new post at Dedar in its St. Germain des Pres showroom.
