Dear Friends,
I’m writing to let you know about recent developments at The Roger Thomas Collection. I was pleased by the warm responses to our major 2014 launches — which included the new Flute collection for Rocky Mountain Hardware, the Twist and Knot collection for Samuel and Sons (pictured above) and the Custom-Tailored line of carpets for OW Hospitality. And I’m so proud of and grateful for all the work and support from the Collection’s entire range of licensing partners.
The coming year will bring new launches from Walters Wicker, Moore and Giles and others. Plus, I’m honored to be the first participant in my good friend Eric Brand’s new Signature Series, which will support scholarships and mentorships for young designers. More about all those in due course. Meanwhile, work continues on the new Wynn Palace in Cotai as we count down to its 2016 opening.
With so much going on, it was high time to update our website. The new site is intended to help both professionals in the trade and the wider public learn more about how I work, as well as the great group of partners who produce our beautiful products. A big consideration in redesigning the site was to make it easy to use on mobile phones and tablets. It should also be easier for users to see all of what we offer and find easy routes to follow up for more information or place an order.
The new site also lets me share much more widely my own notes and thoughts as I travel the world. Along with my trusty notebooks, the iPhone is always at hand, and on my new blog I’m posting regularly photos, observations and insights as I travel the country and the world. Please feel free to follow me (and let me know what you think by sharing and responding on your social platform of choice).
I have never been so excited about the global outlook for our industry. The opportunities for creativity and innovation worldwide have never been greater, and I look forward to working with all of you to fulfill them.
