Venice, seen from one meter above floor level

In Art and history, Designs, Travels and events by arifhasyim

Ca’ Rezzonico is the most extraordinary celebration of Baroque architecture and decorative arts, in a Venetian Palazzo.

Each time I go I am amazed at the intersection of color, silhouette, form, texture at the chair rail, or wainscot, about 39 inches above the terrazzo floors.

I’m getting a little too old to do this so this might be the last time I get on my knees to make these photographs. Enjoy!
