Marvelous conversation of creation

In Collecting, Designs, Travels and events by Roger Thomas

Masterpiece London, held every June at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, never disappoints.
A 2,500-year parade of art and antiques from every part of the world brought to one place and time makes for extraordinary juxtaposition. It creates a marvelous conversation of creation for those who care to listen to the moment.
This last outing marked the 300th anniversary of the birth of  Thomas Chippendale, England’s most celebrated cabinetmaker, and his genius was in abundance. Seeing it with what went before and after was wonderfully resonant.
