Arthur and I often go to Ca’Rezzonico in Venice just because it’s there. This trip, we went on the recommendation of Nicolo Rubelli to see Sebastiano Ricci drawings. While there, I was attracted to the white-on-pastel background stucco, and then began noticing interplaying shades of white and gold everywhere.
