Roger’s Trelliage wallcovering evokes French gardens, English conservatories, parlor palms and the Belle Epoque. “It is a favorite architectural detail of mine for these romantic associations, as a device to establish scale and for the illusion of space beyond,” Thomas says. “Trelliage was inspired by my memories of the Loggia at Sans Souci and of Kew Gardens, and has been rendered just as I created it, with brush and ink.”
