Some colors to celebrate

In Art and history, Designs by Roger Thomas

Color is on in and around everything. I celebrate when I encounter vivid shades so here is a share of some I’ve recently captured. A yellow bedalcove at Vaux le Vicomte, a red passage in a 16th Venetian canvas by Veronese, a Jeff Koons mirrored object reflected in a turquoise Jeff Koons mirrored object at the Whitney Retrospective, Vernis de Martin lacquer in the Musee Carnavalet in Paris (my favorite green ), satin Ribbons at a 28th street floral supply house in Manhattan in vibrant shades I’m using in a project.

Enjoy!
